Dear Robin Williams,

I’ve loved your work my entire life, and have found you to be so inspirational; I even named my blog after one on your quotes.

I can still remember giggling at the genie in Aladdin when I was a little girl, and being amazed at your character’s transformation in Mrs. Doubtfire. I have always been beyond impressed in your ability to make me believe the impossible.

I hope that in death you find your peace.

I want to leave the atmosphere, and come back with drops of Jupiter in my hair.  I want to act like summer and walk like rain and know there’s a time to change.

I want to vacation on the moon, and come home listening like spring and talking like June.  After I sail across the sun, and past the milky way, and heaven, I’ll come home and tell you it’s not overrated, it’s beautiful.

I want to fall for a shooting star, and find myself and miss you terribly.  I want to have my soul vacation, tracing my way through the constellations.  And when I’m back home I’ll check out Mozart while I do Tae-Bo, and remind you that there’s room to grow.

And don’t worry, I’ll never think of you as a man who was too afraid to fly so he never landed.  The wind will sweep me off my feet and I’ll dance along the light of day, and then I’ll head back to the Milky Way.

I want to visit Venus and know if it was everything I wanted to find, and I’ll find myself and miss you even more.

And I’ll come home because I can’t imagine life without love, pride, deep-fried chicken, but mostly I can’t imagine life without you.
