Things I CANNOT STAND: Part One

that cannot is a word. so unnecessary. but i still use it.
when people say “should of” instead of “should have”.
when people type “high” instead of “hi”.
when people start a countdown to next year’s christmas on December 26th.
that men and women still aren’t equal. wtf, world?
that gays and straights still aren’t equal. wtf, world?
that my mother let me grow up so sheltered—less sheltered than a lot of people in this god forsaken country, but still, sheltered.
that I have to live in this ridiculous country.
hoarding.
the word “uncanny”.
the commercials on youtube.
waking up in a cold sweat because of something you can’t fix anyways.
when people complain about their “significant other” not answering calls/texts. they are either busy, not by their phone, or don’t fucking want to talk to you. and if you are worried it might be the latter, then you need to sort out your priorities because that shit shouldn’t even be crossing your mind.
getting introduced to men by family members and 5 minutes later all you hear is “SO HOW DID YOU LIKE HIM?? DO YOU WANT TO DATE HIM? YOU GUYS WOULD BE SO CUTE TOGETHER. YOU SHOULD DATE HIM.” Get off my tits.
Men who think relationships are still like they were in high school. I’m a grown fucking woman and you better treat me like one.
and i absolutely can NOT stand immature guys. i don’t want to be your first anything—girlfriend, love, sexual partner—if you are gonna be immature about it. grow the fuck up, get some balls, get a blow job or two, eat a girl out, and then maybe you won’t be such an immature asshole.
and olives.
and creepy old men that follow me around in the thrift store and make me nervous the rest of the day.
